does anyone know how to change the gas globes on the HID's on late R33 GTR's ive taken back off light but cant get globe and meshing out

Is it a H1 replacement xenon globe (should have a metal clip) or is it a plastic base? Which requires a half twist.

it has a clip to release the globe and a screw too undo clip but there is a metal casing that i cant remove and a meshing that is attached than runs down the inside of the light plus the globe is 2 inches long with a some sort of element rod which makes it very difficult
