R32 Auto Climate Control

hey all, just a quick question

i have an R32 with the manual climate control (one with the slidey switches and stuff) and i was wondering if anyone has changed over theirs to an auto climate control. i could prob pick up the actual unit from a wreckers but would there be too much labour to make it a reasonably inexpensive mod??

the switching between vents is already electronic as it uses push buttons and u can hear the motor moving stuff inside the dash, its mainly the control of the temperature and the selecting of fan speed.

If you can post a picture of the wiring loom that runs your analogue unit, I can find out if the digital climate control will fit.

wiring loom is different where it goes into the dash unit.. no solid info on here, do a search..

I believe you have to change the dash unit and have the loom.. oh and I think you'll need the temp sensor that sits on top of the dash. I have most of a spare climate control system for my r32.. but buggered if I can be bothered pulling apart the whole dash just to get some rice right at the moment

yeah im thinking its all too hard atm, it was just a thought as the lack of auto climate control was one of the cons when i purchased the car... but as long as its all working theres no real problem i guess
