Ok, i am going to go to my local nissan spare parts and ask for a stagea auto ecu pin out.

umm... ok, do you think they'd have it, seeing as they've never sold one locally?

Just checking the ECU pinouts of the HNR32, ENR33 and the BNR32 and BCNR33, pins 7, 56 and 30 are all the same, across all the models and specs (including the signals they put out). So any of em should really plug and play with the ETS controller.

If they dont have it, they should be able to get it. What if i took it into a nissan dealer for repairs or something, they MUST have access to it.

On another note, does that mean that the R33 PFC should be fine(ideal) if i swap the plug on the harness. At the same time, hardwire the ETS controller into pins 7, 30 and 56...therefore making the atessa work fine getting its inputs as required.

Not sure if i missed it, are pins 7/30/56 on the skylines all outputs right?

I hope this is the case, as this would save me a lot of money/time with selling the PFC for ECR33 i already have, std ecu, plug etc.

I'm keen to find this out too, as I might purchase a PFC further down the line to control my (already converted) manual s1 Stagea.

I might already have mentioned this anyway. Might have to see what Ska has found with his car. Hopefully that should answer many questions. I don't want to sacrifice too much with an ECU conversion, and seeing as the PFC is basically plug-and-play (with closed-loop maps), I'm steering towards this as I narrow down the choices available...

Either way, I think my car could do with a slight tune in the not-too-distant future to make sure it's not running too rich, because it does go through a lot of fuel at the moment, even when just cruising mostly off boost and shifting early.

Even if ATTESA works (pins 7, 30 and 56), you're not guranteed that the rest of the pinouts of the PFC ECU will work on a stagea. There are so many things that could be different, including the frequencies, voltages etc of signals for the same output.

If there is someone who's using a PFC on a AWD RB25DET stagea (not just a RWD one) then it'd be wise to find out what he's using and how its wired in.

As for nissan dealers repairing imports, they're about as useful as tits on a bull :) but maybe you can pull a few strings and find out something.

Ive spoken to my local spare parts guys, they are going to first email AU and see if they can supply for my car, then they will ask japan. Even if its in Jap, would be fine to translate and at least have a true copy of the correct pinouts. ETA few days.

Also, emailed and called the Aussie distributors of PFC's. Lucky enough, their factory is ~5 minutes away from me so they can inspect the car etc if required and they will get back to me in a few days too.

So hopefully, in a few days, ill post a new thread about the PFC/Pinouts issue. Im sure this will benefit more then myself.

EDIT: Ska with a AWD stagea is using a PFC so SOME pfc must fit. Hopefully Access auto can help, as i KNOW his is on bought from Access auto. Mercury let me in on that much... :P muahaha
