hey guys, i have a question and well my exhuast seems to make this loud rattling noise, its only just been in the country about a month or so before i got it, and im just wondering if any of you guys have heard these problems?

1 person has told me thats the type of muffle on it and its meantto make that noise, anotehr has said that when they put the cat convertor on to comply they just did a quick and shit job..

im confused and my muffler sounds liek shit.. some body help

Yep, mine did that. I had a f**ked muffler and a screwed resonator. Both made god-awful noises. Go and see any exhaust shop and get a 2 1/2 cat back with decent muffler and a hotdog style resonator and it'll sound sweet. Well mine does anyway ;)

yeah well i really aint sure anymore, seeing as i am broke, i think i might just go with the cat back.. but then again maybe i should save up and get a full exhuast system.. with extractors and all...

If you want my honest opinion just go cat-back for a bit of noise. I have found that there is no a lot a power potential in the RB20 with out a turbo with spending crazy $$$$. It's a harsh reality which is why I saved and bought a turbo.

I had a similar problem on my old car, and it turned out to be the cover on the exhaust, between the manifold and the cat. A few screws fell of and the cover was noisy all the time. Plus, it was dented from speed humps so i straightened the prick and put some new bolts on.

Problem solved.

This may or may not be the case for you, but it doesnt hurt to check it out....
