Who Did You Bet On For The Melbourne Cup?

Hey everyone

Well the cup race is less than an hour from start...... did anyone place any bets?

I put $5 each way on Makybe Diva as the fave, Leica Falcon as an outside tip and Strasbourg as another outsider with long odds.... he's a Bart Cummings horse who has won at similar distances ..so I reckon he's in with a chance!!

I drew a nag in the work sweepstakes though... some horse called KindJhal with $108 for a win

I didn't put any bets on, but was in the sweep at work. And just to piss me off, for the second straight year I got the horse that finished 4th. <_<

That dude that put a million on Diva now has an extra two million, wouldn't mind a piece of that.

I couldnt get to put my bets in. I was gunna put 4 horses in for a box trifecta and none of them finished in the top 3. So I actually won money because if I had've placed the bet I would've lost.
