me and a performance specialist are attempting a aussie first gas conversion on a RB20DET (worked) the cost is about $3500 and it's direct gas injection system with it's own computer for the LPG. Dyno tune once only the ecu thinks for itself. completion of this trial project will be in about 3 weeks.

well guys it can be done had all the measurements taken today and a 60 litre useable tank fits in the boot quite nicely.worked out all the switches and i'll post pictures when it's finally finished, try and get dyno readings out too but i'll only gain horsepower with the mods and conversion. currently running 10psi and aquiring 179rwkw, doing a front mount install and plenum modification which should allow 14psi boost and break 200rwkw barrier and only more on gas(lpg)

Last I'd heard most gas inj. systems were limited to 33KW (@ fly) per injector, and thats only 200KW, i assume you either have higher rated injectors or are going two-per-cylinder?

i will be using the gas equivelant to 550cc injectors and the system is rated at 4.5-6 litre engines. will be running 14psi boost and the system will give me an extra 5-10kw at the wheels compared to petrol the countdown begins to 3 weeks
