Can some one please show me some pics of how to install an intercool into an r32 gtst, i think i have it all worked out on the right hand side (looking at the car) but on the left i cant work out how the pipes come through. Also how much of the stuff needs to be removed in the front bar for them to work?

I have done a search and it was not very helpful.

BTW. Intercooler is a Autotecnica cool 8 kit.

Assuming you are looking at the front of the car(RH Drive) - drivers side a hole needs to be cut in the body, passenger side it runs up thru the standard piping. This is assuming your kit is an up and over the radiator type. Cutting the hole is simple as there is a hole marked for if the chassis if it is used for a GTR - at least thats where I ran mine through..

Depending on what frontbar you have determines how much choppy you have to do...

Have a look at where your battery is - it is sitting on a right angle sort of shelf - the hole will be made in the side of this shelf below the battery so you don't have to relocate it... keep in mind I am only assuming this is how your kit goes as pretty much all of the kits I have seen that don't return through the factory piping on the same side go this way..

I am working on the pics - actually I will make a rough one in paint so you get the idea.

i installed my intercooler kit on the weekend, you have to holesaw a 3 inch hole under your battery tray. i have a standard type m front bar and i had to chop it out pretty hardcore to suit the cooler and the piping. i will put up some pics of the cooler and how it looks with the chopped front bar. joe

i see now, silly me. Ok then next question. Where does the intercooler bolt into? Im having trouble working out where it goes and how much of the front bar will need to be attacked lol

Also how long does it take to install. It seems fairly easy (touch wood). Done in an afternoon?

Yeh I did mine in an afternoon/night... you will probably need to bolt your intercooler to your bumper support bar - which will also probably need some choppy chop - BUT this all depends on your kit, I am basing these instructions on installing a china copy kit, It wasn't too hard in the end but did involve a fair amount of swearing.. yours could be different..
