yeh lots of good sugestions here, thanks guys, i definately think i'l go with getting more flow through exhaust, as i have 3"atm maybe try upgrade to 3.5" get rid of the cat, go for some dump pipes and cams and c how we go.. maybe i'l be happy with the extra power, 350 by the sounds of it might be a bit out of reach.. so mybe i'l have to be satisfied with 320 or so... unless my engine blows sometime soon then i might go all out with a rebuild and try and push it hard.. :)

but thanks for the sugestions

poncams and cam gears have been mentioned, i was under the impression that the poncams were spot on and you didnt need cam gears?

a 3.5incher plus a straight through cat will work wonders! definitly sort the exhaust first, as even if you put on bigger turbos later the exhaust will be done already. Get the most of the GTSS's and when your bored of that, rebuild motor and throw on GTRS's and easy 400+awkw!

Hey Skorj

I have a similar output on my R32 GTR and I'm running R34 N1s (292awkw and 302rwkw) with PFC and a full engine rebuild. I'm only running 1.2bar (18psi) – which is the safe limit of the N1s so I'm told

I do not have 700cc injectors or 80mm AFMs, but I do have a Tomei fuel pump and SX fuel regulator, and I have done a port and polish of the head.

My std injectors limit my output at this point – and can hit 100% duty cycle at the top of 3rd gear (no flames pls – I'm getting bigger injectirs – OK)

I also have 3.5" catless exhaust with split (HKS style) dumps

My next power upgrade will be

RB25 AFMs

Apexi 80mm suction kit

700cc sard injectors

Tomei poncams

An I expect to get 350awkw – easy

I ?may? Also include a bigger FMIC just to be on the safe side.

AND – no it's not laggy AT ALL !!!

sweet, u just got my hopes up a bit itbmils, hopefully if i go the 3.5" catless zorst, fuelpump cams, and i will eventually need a rebuild...

i might be able to get to my 350 goal,

anyone have recomendations for a efficiently priced 3.5"exhaust? should i go for a jap name like an hks, or just go to the local zorst shop and get em to custom make up a nice straight through zorst?

    • Define "Nissan big brakes". You just mean standard R34 4 pots? And...it's not even the offset you need to worry about. It's really a detail of how much clearance there is between the caliper and the back of the spoke/face, which is affected more by the design of the spoke than it is by the offset. If you think about it....take any wheel, say a 19x8 that does fit and clears the caliper. Then add or subtract an inch of wheel on the outside, without changing anything else. You have changed the offset by half an inch, but not changed the clearance situation at all. Same for if you add or subtract an inch from the inside edge. The way for you to work this out is to take a wheel off the car, grab a straight edge and a ruler or two, and start to measure the distances from the wheel mounting face on the hub to the outer face of the caliper, and the outer diameter (that faces the barrel of the wheel) of the caliper. Armed with these dimensions and any other measurement that grabs your fancy while you are there, you can then go to the seller of the wheels and do the reverse measurements from the wheel's mounting face and see if there will be clearance to the caliper. There really should be. I have 17x8 RPF1s +35 clearing the caliper face by a finger tip. Those wheels do have pretty thin spokes with some curvature.... but then so do most wheels to suit Jap cars.
    • So I’ve got a r34 sedan that I managed to get green stickered, meaning I need to go through government approved wof station for my car to be allowed back on the road for some reason my car is certed for 19x8 rims.. I need these wheels  does anyone know what offset will be fine to clear Nissan big brakes? I saw 35et for sale near me, I can’t drive the car to test fit or risk being fined ..   I searched heaps online couldn’t find anywhere..
