i recently had some second hand jic coilovers put in my 32 gts-t and the back left one it stuffed, it is leaking badly and makes havy loud clunking noises when it hits bumps, i think it bottoming out, does anyone know where i can get them reco'ed in sydney or anywhere else for that matter

i think the shock is 40mm thick or the same as typical bilstein coilovers, because they are an older design i cannot find any info on the net about them so if anyone knows of a place i can get infor on jic please let me know

cheers, Adam

they will need to be rebuilt. Check shafts for scoring (chrome chipped off or rust etc.)

give them a call. Though i have a feeling that they can't do JIC's because they are a slightly different type of shock or something.

Generally you should rebuild them in pairs, so you'll need to do both shocks. Price is around $150 per shock for basic rebuild + extra if shafts are scored.

How much did you pay for them? might be worthwhile selling and getting something else.
