Okay... here is the issue,, weight saving....I specialise in them.

The guards that i will be making is designed if u're weight concern, cut and replace that simple.

Rear wise i will be making them from the full boot line to the bottom parts. so at least 2kg each side u will save at minimum.

Front wise, it's simple replacement FRp item that will reduce lots and lots of weight even with the alumnum one.

Legality issue.... What about 400Rwkw ???? is this legal....

that's my widebody BN kit, it fits into the ridges between the door line and fits snugly in the back. But yeah the kit weighs a buttload. Its mostly for looks.

will you be fitting them or just developing them of the car, cause i'd prefer not to fit them just yet, don't have enuf cash for a respray just yet. if you can be sure there isn't going to be any damage to the car, i'd be up for it. i'll pm you some pics of my baby.

Also are the front's going to made as bolt on items? And how much wider than gtr guards will they be?

funkymonkey u haven't seen my kit yet, it's feather weight as i specialise in weight reduction. ppl, this is a chance to go for looks and DIET BRO....

Lukaz i can do anything as long as there is enugh time.

Black R32 i will be fitting theese and perpare them for sprays, u don't have to respray your whole car for this unit, it will be a bolt on no fuss and stuffin around.

Sarumatix Hmmmmmmm interesting...... not yet for the rears 4 door unit. have to develop the coupe then i will do the 4 door.

FOR interested parties, call me on 0401216460

topstage, do you run a panelbeater/prep/paint shop or is this in your spare time as a hobby? I'm looking for someone to prep my car for paint.

If you want you can use the car for a couple of weeks to develop your guards while you're at it.

I have a R32 gtr that I smashed up about 6 months ago a sandown doing a track day. It was going into the panel shop next week but if you are interested in it I might be keen. I will be doing all the track days next year plus more. The car will need a full respray due the the damage which I'll pay for, so after the job it would look like new. It has a HKS2.7 liter forged big bore kit with N1's and almost all the suspension sorted( might be bolting on high mount twin TD05's since I've seen a graph with these making 380rwkw at around 1.4 bar and I have the manifolds, less laggy than 2540's). The car would be an excellent example of your work. I'm not afraid to give the car a hard time, track, drift, etc and would be more than willing to promote your product it its good quality and you help me out. I'll pm you my ph no so give me a call if your interested. I have a straight R32 gtr at home as well so it you need a car to dummy stuff up on you could use that.

manage13, thank's bro, are u up for it?

topstage, I have spoken to various people about having the wide body done on my car however I was convinced otherwise. There are a few valid concerns they raised that are in my best interest not to take up your generous offer.

I know this may come as a negative post and by no means do I intend it to be. ABuSD stated in an earlier post that you do a great job and I do not doubt that! I believe this is a great offer for R32 GTR owners I wish I was in a different situation to take this offer up.

I don't want to take anything out of context. But was the statement "turned up gettin some hoons" on NS.com in reference to us? I'm not jumping to conclusions here! Maybe I have taken it out of context.

Regardless, I wish you all the best on your venture.

This top stage guy doesn't quite get it. I just spoke to him and all he had to offer was the quarters and a tin of paint for you to promote his product. I'd rather save the couple hundred dollars he had to offer to keep my car original car. And it costs you for the paint job. Who would do it?

    • @soviet_merlin Thanks mate!  Nothing too major but will hold me up for a while. I've got lymphomas to get taken off the back of my neck and the middle of my spine which always conjures scary thoughts!  It sounds worse than it is. Yeah great, conjuring more rabbit hole deepening , just what I need! 🤣
    • I'd argue the F50 kit I got is very good value. For ~2k I got the calipers (refurbed condition), adapters, pads, brake lines, rotors, and top hats. I think you'd be pretty hard to get Evo/GTR/350z brembos + the additional hardware for similar money. Used market for a pair of front calipers alone I've seen tend to run anywhere from $1500-2000 depending on condition.    That said, something like a GTR or 350z brembo is a lot easier to adapt to the Silvia.
    • Is there a significant price difference between the Evo/gtr/350z brembos vs the F50? Looks amazing.
    • I was actually being a tightarse at the time LOL... My OCD is tickling me into running a 2nd 8AN Teflon hose all the way down and removing the 2x OEM hardlines. My other side of my brain is telling me to run 2x hardlines front to back (also acts as a fuel cooler, so win win).
    • As I mentioned in an earlier post, I had some trouble with the Silvia's brakes dragging back in 2023. I managed to sort it out then, but the same problem came back to bite me late last year. Just take a look at the picture – I had a feeling the handbrake was acting up again, and I was right. Anyway, I'd been wanting to upgrade to bigger brakes for a while. Not that the Silvia's brakes were bad, but it was more of a "want" than a "need", you know? It was funny, though – at the time, I couldn't find any Evo Brembos, 350Z Brembos, or GTR Brembos for a decent price (of course, tons of them popped up online after I already bought my kit!). I ended up going with an F50 Brembo kit, which came with adapters, brake lines, 330mm rotors, and top hats. The F50 Brembo caliper was used in a few other cars too, like the FPV. I also decided this was the perfect opportunity to ditch the Silvia's ridiculous rear brakes and that awful handbrake (some of you were definitely right about that!). I picked up some R33 calipers and all the necessary bits – rear drums, backing plates, and new hardware to refurbish the calipers. Of course, it wouldn't be a project without a few hiccups. Turns out the brake master cylinder was playing up and basically (to put it simply) keeping the brakes engaged. I had it overhauled, and after some adjustments, everything was working again. The whole process took a while, as you can imagine. To top it off, the front right wheel bearings were shot and needed replacing too. This is a rare occasion where I'm posting an update while it's all still fresh! These pictures were taken just this afternoon.
