Good morning all, its saturday morning and i've just finished ringing around for new tyres in sydney, i thought this might be of interest to others in sydney;

235/45r17:

Falken Azensis RT-215 $270 (tempe) Semislick

Toyo RA1 $371 (Blairs) Semislick

Toyo R888 $377 (Blairs) Semislick

Toyo T1R $295 (Tubby's)

Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 $205 (kmart)

255/40r17:

hope this becomes helpful for everyone. If anyone has found better prices please let me know before i start investing my money in new rubber.

I went out looking for some rims and tyres.Not wanting what they give in their packs/deals.Aside from going for Semi slicks i looked at the bang for buck tyre in motor magazine the maxxis victra ma-z1.

For 235/40/18=$310ea

For 255/45/18=$330ea

Ray where is Tubby's?

I got my Toyo T1R - 255/40/17 for $350, got quoted $300 for 235/45/17.

This is at my local tyre power at Mascot.
