I'm goin from the sunny coast however I am thinking I might tag onto the back of the cruise as it goes past me in caloundra rather than drive to bne then back the way I came and then out to Somerset 

What to the fellow Sunny Coasters think

Last year the cruise didn't follow the Bruce Hwy north to the Sunshine Coast - we headed north west from Aspley and came through the hinterland (out Woodford-Maleny way) to Lake Baroon... this year we aren't going as far north, and as far as I'm aware, we're still heading north west from Aspley (not via Bruce Hwy), so I'm not quite sure where in Caloundra we are going to pass you...

I heard from one of my co-workers who is a member of FORDLASER.COM that there is a cruise out to Somerset on the same day for them. Might not hurt to hit them up for some donations also. I mean, I know they are not Skylines but they do have wallets and it is for the kids.

The Idea for the sunny coasters is good but what we need is a map with the route that the cruze is goin to take then we can work out wheres the best point to join the cruze or just continue to meet at the main meet in aspley

i reckon we just go to the main meet in aspley bcoz summerset is west not north. but we can make a northern meet point at say moby vic's servo for the north ppl.

I agree with 85urk, that way we all start together and that way we dont get lost, left behind etc. if the main meet departure time is 10 then lets say meet at moby vics at 9 for a 9:10-9:15 depart which should allow us plenty of time to compensate for traffic. What u sunny coasters think

Ok, local update!

It turns out that I forgot I have my anniversary weekend getaway with Katrina that same weekend.

So I guess I'll see you all there then hey!

I'm trying to convince her that we can leave early on sunday morning and meet up at the dam. I may have to crew up with the Goldcoast boys on this one.

how about all of the Sunny coasters meeting up at BP in Caboolture and all head down to Aspley instead..? wouldn't that be easier ? ( for me anyway )

say be there by 9am for the 9:15 depature ?

If its a 10am departure from Aspley we want be there by 1/4 to at least, so the Springwood people want to leave there by 9:15? Meet up at 8:45 - 9:00 in the Maccas car park.

Moby Vic is the mobile servo just b4 the BP in cabolture, but either one doesnt really matter to me, im still getting breakky where ever we stop

We will be heading out this weekend to do a scouting run and will hopefully (time permitting) have an itinery up for you on Sunday night.

I'm for the BP as it has better coffee

Plus it has maccas and KFC

Plus better fuel and parking (flat)

Aspley is not far ahead from BP anyways.

so BP it is ( one that's going towards Brisbane ) and i agree,. they do have better coffee there.
