Hey Guys,

Just need some input with a turbo timer thats installed in my car. I have one of those pivot turbo timer with a knob to turn it to 0, 1 or 3.

I believe it is a called a rotary switch. The other day i turned the knob a bit 2 much and snapped it. :)

Surely enough i have bought a new rotary switch and tryed and fix it but i cant find the bit that was snapped off.

I have no idea where the wires are suppose to connect to the rotary switch.

Does anyone else have this pivot turbo timer installed on their dash. Im after a pic of the wiring on the rotary switch so i can copy it.

I have tryed wiring it up but the cars stays on and doesnt turn of. :P

I have five wires:

1.green

2.purple

3.brown

4.white

5.grey

green and grey make the car stay on but doesnt turn of. It stops running when i connect the purple wire to the green and grey wire.

Thanks in advance.

AK

I would advise going to an auto electrician. Sometimes they give out free information.

If I understand correctly - you have five wires going into the back of the rotary switch?

Or you have five wires coming out the back of the timer?
