Compression test prior to the dyno came up with 185-190 across all 6, not sure why it was so high. Tried wounding out some power but caused misfires, so wouldn't make any less.

New cams, ECU and valves coming in the next few months, no idea what it will make when retune happens.

Nice, in 4th gear what rpm would see 17psi?

Hi all just got my R33 GT-R le mans tuned.

Unopened r33 rb26 done just under 100,000 (whether it is legit or not lol)

Mods:

r34 n1 turbos

Ported stock manifolds

Split dump pipes

Xforce front pipes

100cel cat 3"

3.5" cat back

Apexi pods

Trust fmic

Hks evc-5

Link g4+ ecu (no afm's)

Siemens 660cc injectors

Nismo fuel reg

Walbro 255

OS Giken twin plat clutch

Probably more i missed.

Made 300hp on 14psi

365hp on 20psi

Was hoping for abit more after seeing some of the results here, but tuner said to do cams/gears/springs and should get near the 400hp mark.

Added a set of tomei adjustablecam gears. Car now makes 385hp atw 18psi on 98 :) dropped 2psi and gained an extra 20hp...

Impressive gain, wish i did it sooner!

First tune, ran out of dyno time. Boost on graph is PSI * 10 (for scaling purposes) and is straight from the log. It literally rained while we dyno'd so 100% humidity and 83 deg F ambient.

This is STOCK Haltech timing advance (untouched). Only would knock at 20 psi at 4400 rpms during spike. I'm DEFINITELY losing boost response on this because the logs with the wastegate hose pulled are showing 21 psi at 4100 rpms (as opposed to my lazy 4400 that was kinda of spiking at first). This was on the MEDIUM EFR wastegate cannister - now I have the high on and boost onsets even faster.

Pumpgas 93 (with the 10% ethanol they have in my area).

2.75L BC stroker

New N1 block 86mm bores

tomei poncam A

6boost manifold - divided for IWG EFR

8374 EFR .92 IWG divided

ported head

SS +.5mm valves

squish pads removed

Hypertune V2 90mm single TB

stock intercooler

800cc injectors (at the time, now 850cc)

DW 300 pump (at the time...running out of pump on dyno...now as sump and AEM380)

Haltech PnP Platinum Pro

Fluidampr harmonic balancer

Nismo Super coppermix twin clutch

Cam gears are '0' '0' (didn't have time to change them yet)

Boost 18 dropping to 16-17 on top.

Basically this is my "baseline" dyno, but I wanted to share since it's data. Car is very quick on the street and super responsive. I LOVE the turbo! I think with the added timing that I have done street tuning since this the car HAS to be making 500 or more whp.

It's 4 inch where it matters,

right behind the turbo

I don't mean to be seen to be picking on your posts but that is incorrect, it could be 4" all the way and have a 3.5" tip and that is enough to cause a restriction. Does not matter where it is along the pipe really.

I disagree... cooler exhaust temps = more dense.. right out the turbo temps would be say 700~900 degrees, at the axle back I'm sure those temps are no where near it..

Yes because of heat transfer through the pipe which is nothing to do with what I said.

You have a 3.5" restriction, put it anywhere along the 4" pipe, it will do the same thing.

nope. for a given pressure and mass flow, Air velocity through a given cross sectional area at 800 degrees C is approx. double that of air at 290 degrees and triple that of air at 100 degrees with pressure held constant.

no idea what the gas temperature at the rear muffler is though.

Currently the car is running rich.

Dyno run boost at 1.1 bar, 238.3kw @all 4 wheels, with 351ft/lb torque.
which is calculated at 298.7kw at the crank (400hp) , and 48.6kgm

Had the car retuned with GT-SS turbos, I'm still working out some issues before i'll be upping the boost too much.

current dyno sheet at 1.2bar of boost 260wkw but the low and midrange feels so much smoother/better now.

Given 5th is 1 : 1 ratio in an R34 6spd is that what people are using for power runs?

We're doing some testing right now and my curve only looks like others in terms of response if we use 4th.

Added plazaman 76mm cooler, pods, and a bit more boost.

Pods made the bigger difference (14 of the total 20kw gained) and were added on the dyno AFTER everything else had been done so we had proof the gain was purely pods at that point.

This was done in 4th, in 5th it made more power but less torque, I went with 4th as thats what we used last time when it made 334kw.

Car is driving nice and sounding good.
