Oz
As far as I have been told, it is know illega to do mobile road worthys, From a convo I was having with a guy that use to do the roadies, so if u can still find some one good luck, & if u do let me know too I am trying to avoide getting a day pass to take it to some one Another thing u can do is get a "DOT's Day Pass", the cost for the day pass are as follows $85 for a insurance note (this will cover you for upto 7 days from what I have been told, just goto Suncorp or a CTP insurer) & $18 Per day for the pass from DOT's so your looking @ a hell of a lot just to get it to a mechanic, the thing is after u have got the roadie u can then drive it straight to DOT's & get the rego inspection done then & there with out having to stuff around. The Day pass is a stupid idea if u ask me, cheaper to just find a local road worth mechanic & have it towed there or hire a car trayler, hell $100 deposit & $75 for 9hrs & your done Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/93898-saftey-cef/#findComment-1696901 Share on other sites
