I have done the searches, just chasing experiences from those who have upgraded (or directly seen upgrades done) on the R33 spec RB25.

Obviously Sard and Nismo offer direct fit 550 - 740 cc sizes, with the need for collars for the Sard items being regularly commented on.

There have also been comments about S15 spec Silvia injectors being an option. Has anyone here actually fitted them, and are they big enough to actually be an upgrade item?

cheers

from what i have seen with the rb25 and SR20 injectors they look the same, and have the same specs...

The S15 injectors are supposidly 480cc which will be a fairly good improvement to the stock RB25 injectors...

However, i think the S15 injectors are rated a little higher also because they run slighty higher fuel pressure.

so you just wanna know if S15 injectors work in a 25 rail etc?

not the other side of it (using nismos etc)

A bit of both actually...

Most guys seem to go for the Nismos, various opinions about what is the best size for upgrading. They just happen to be reasonably pricey but at least are a direct fit replacement.

Having searched, I saw a comment that S15 may fit the 25. Just asking to see if anyone had done so.

cheers

i was informed by SK that the jspec s15 injectors will fit the 25 rail.

sards fit, however u need to rewire the plugs and use the collars as previously mentioned. abit of screwing around with them and you gotta make sure u get the right orings with them as sometimes u get all sorts for some reason.

And ive continously read that nismos are direct fit no stuffing around...they seem like the best option.

Quick summary;

1. SARDS are made for 1JZ/2JZ, so they need adaptor collars to fit RB25's and SR20's

2. Nismos are made for RB25's and SR20's, so they don't need adaptors

3. Aus spec SR20DET injectors are same size as RB25's (ie; 370 cc's). JDM S15 SR20DET auto injectors are also the same.

4. JDM S15 SR20DET manual injectors are rated 444 cc's, although they seem to flow a bit more than that.

5. All of the injector flow rates are at standard fuel pressure iee; 36-38 psi

Hope that helps

:) cheers :)

Ok, old thread but more to add/ask.

RB25 part number is the same as for auto spec S15, regardless of JDM or Aust delivered.

The manual spec S15 has a separate part number from the 370cc unit, again Nissan Aust show them to be the same part regardless of JDM or Aust delivered.

Are the JECS specifications for the higher flowing injectors available? ie. to fit them up, the PFC needs to be told the flow size correction value, plus the lag time.

Can anybody point the way here?

cheers
