Hi guys,

I have a mate in Vic, his name is Trent Hewitson (autobarn on NS.com), who does road tunes on power fc and e-manage. Full map, not just WOT, and tuned for RESPONSE, ideal for drif, or he can just tune it how you want (eg, just outright power)

He charges $350 per tune, and said he would agree to come over to WA to do some tuning if I could find 4 to 5 interested peoples.

Anybody interested, please let me know.

Steve

And how does he do these road tunes?

Wide band lambanda equipement?

hope he a better idea than some tuners around B)

like certain 12.5:1 a/f ratio through the whole rev range on a street car :(

gotta love the work of the "experts"

Yes, he uses a wideband O2 sensor. Road tune is the BEST way to tune a FULL map, part throttle cruise and accel etc as well as WOT.

A dyno, although it is excellent for WOT, can never perfectly emmulate the road which is where cars are driven.

A dyno tune with a follow up torad tune is IMHO the best way to achieve the right tune setup..

its a bit hard to legally achieve a WOT tune without risking licence, impounding, death etc these days, a dyno eliminates all those variables and just leaves you to sort out the road tuning side and light throttle tunign
