I dont like loud exhausts but I would like to know wot brands provide appropiate flow with supressed sound...let me know from your own experiences...thankz in advanced

Kakimoto and Fujitsubo are the best! For Nissan, Nismo is good too but they are very, very expensive. As for Honda, it is Mugen and they are even dearer than Nismo. For that kinda money, I'd pick Fujitsubo...

Mine is a HKS Dragger II system, its not too loud and seems to breathe pretty well. I've heard quieter but its not too noisy.

Often owners may find 'JASMA' stamped on an aftermarket exhaust that was on their car when they bought it. JASMA is not a exhaust manufacturer, its some sort of organisation that certifies exhausts meet noise standards etc. It stands for Japanese Automobile Sports Muffler Association.

i have a hks super drager especially for a non turbo skyline and the sound is great. it has a nice deep muffled note and does not drone at all. it sounds tough without being ridiculously noisy.

the super drager system for a turbo might be different, not sure.

I had Trust MX on my car, and it's quite loud compared to standard exhaust, but I like it after a while. It's pretty quiet when you cruise. The deep bass roar is when you accelerate around 2000rpm, by 2500rpm+ it's quiet again.

well, I got a kakimoto cat back, but the muffler was replaced with an american made N1 copy. I got front and dump pipes as well.

Got it tested yesterday for noise and with silencer I'm JUST bordering on legal (90-91db I'm getting, limit is 90).

Without silencer I got 92-93db.

With silencer was @ 3,200RPM

Without was around 3,000RPM
