- Gates timing belt

- QuickTrack alarm

- clear side and front indicators

Car has been tuned by Jim at CRD and made 245kw@15psi and 284kw@19psi (turbos are more efficient with more boost - behaviour is like N1 turbos). Current boost setting is 15psi.

As you can see, I have used nothing but quality parts and I have every single receipt for this car. There is absolutley nothing to spend on it. The interior is spotless and the body and paint is excellent.

Car has rego till end of April 2007

Any inspections welcome, actually I encourage them but please no time wasters.

Might consider trades on cars of less value with cash.

Hey mate, can't belive your getting rid of your car already, and after all the trouble you went through.

Unfortunatly i think R33 GTR's don't bring 40k+ anymore.

Being a series 3 you'll get more than the rest of the S1's out there... Depends how desperate you are to sell it, if you hold out for the right buyer you could probably get low 40's?

Andrew, I don't really want to get rid of it....My daughter is two weeks old now and so I want to see how we go with our finances. If I find that we are struggling a little (I'm the only income earner) then I might have to get rid of it...

I know that trying to get a Series 3 GTR V-Spec (a clean one that is) from Japan will cost over 40K shipped, complied, registered etc, so a nicely modded one should be a little over that....

Hey mate nice car, pity about the price tho... I've been looking for a r33 v-spec for over 2 months now and even tho it sounds like a great car, having previuously owned a 33 gtr i know the difficulties of selling one. Most people who want one can't afford one and then if they can insurance is hard to get and expensive.

What is the lowest price you will take for it? I am a serious buyer, live in WA but will be heading east late Jan early Feb. I'm a cash buyer and depending on where the best car is, is where i will go (My gf & i both have time off and will make a holiday out of it).

If u like u can contact me via email or msn at: [email protected]

thnx G.

hey..i was just browsing, but what sort of car are you interested in trading for? your getting rid of a GTR because of finances, so im assuming that you dont really want to swap for another skyline/sports car - is this correct?

hehe well dont get me wrong, i'm interested, but just wanted an idea of what lesser valued car you were after.

anyways, gl with everything and congrats on ur new born!

Deriq thanks for that mate :)

I've already got a family car so I don't need to change the GTR for that reason but I want a cheaper car than this one to increase my cash flow so I'm after anything really. Don't mind if its a sports car as it will be the car I use without the family...

If ur interested call me or send me a pm...

Can I see a photo of the interior if at all possible?

What do you mean by "red stitch"? Is it just standard?

I am currently signed up with prestige motorsport and am after a Series 3 vspec. Havnt yet found what I am after and have been looking for over 2 months now.

Saw your thread ages ago, but wasnt down for black duco - i've since changed my mind, black has grown on me alot ;)

Hi George,

Just letting you know (like you asked me to) that I have now got a GTR. Found a 1996 V-spec, with fresh engine (I am the first to drive it), HKS internals (oversized), strengthen rods, oversized valves, N1 R34 turbo’s, larger (core) intercooler, HKS adjustable cam gears, Tomi cams, Nismo twin plate, HKS dump pipes, into 4” super dragger exhaust, forged 18” alloys, Apexi FC + hand controller, carbon fiber bonnet & wing, Nismo gages, high end ICE, blah , blah blah, dyno’d 313Kw @ all 4. Immaculate inside &out, no scratches/dents – well nothing a good cut n’ polish wont get out.

Thanks for taking the time to let me look over yours, hope you get what you want for it. :teehee::yucky:

Note: Pix are from my phone – so LOW rez crud.

    • You guys are amazingly knowledgeable and I appreciate it all so much. I’m currently at the local RB tuning shop, getting her inspected and diagnosed, for the t-case debacle and everything else. I’ll keep you guys posted!
    • Like @Dose Pipe Sutututu mentioned, 10W30 on a built motor would not be a great idea. As for the steel wool, we think alike as I went ahead and put SS wool into my catch can as per my above posts.
    • I am going to chime in here and say that is very bad advice for a built motor, making decent power of 400kW+ Especially if the rings have been gapped on the looser side. The more power you make the heavier you need your oil to be to be able to maintain that suspension between the moving parts, if not you'll have journals and bearings making love and grenade a motor. Remember that all moving parts inside the motor aren't ball bearing and are journal bearings and require oil to separate the surfaces from contacting.
    • Yeah I noticed this just now. No doubt she will be running smoother next start😂🤣😂
    • ENR34 manual transmission transfer cases are 33100-23U00 which is shared with all of the R32/R33 GT-Rs and GTS-4s. And the C34 Stagea. Do not bother with automatics, that is a huge effort to swap and the car will be worse for it. And an automatic transfer case does not have the right housing for the shifter which comes out the back of the transmission and goes through the transfer case. I already posted my response on reddit but if you didn't see it there here it is: You have almost certainly damaged the transfer case, the only question is how badly. Nobody can tell you how bad without more information. If you have a giant hole in the transfer case pissing out all the transfer case fluid then you need a new one. If it's not that bad then the only question is whether you burned up the clutches. Drain the transfer case oil and inspect for metal on the drain plug magnet. Small black filings are normal. Big chunks of metal or a ton of black fuzzies not so much. Fluid should be nice and red. Any other color isn't great. If the color is reasonably red and there's not a bunch of clutch material discoloring it or anything like that you probably got away with insubstantial excess wear not worth trying to fix. If you have to rebuild or replace the transfer case keep in mind you have to pull the transmission to get it off.
