Silva32
Can anyone help me answer this quick question?? Does anyone know if the Rb26 Plenum is a direct fit onto the RB25de head, or does it need an adopter plate of some kind??? Thanks Silva32 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/94321-does-a-rb26-plenum-fit-onto-rb25de/ Share on other sites

Yes, you are right! You will need an adapter plate. RIPS in New Zealand make them. GKTECH
You will lose power! Its that simple! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Loss of power? I was thinking about doing a similiar thing so my intercooler piping isn't hanging over the head (should lose close to 1metre of piping). Any more info on loss of power? (RB25DETwith just over 250rwkws) Greg Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/94321-does-a-rb26-plenum-fit-onto-rb25de/#findComment-1705727 Share on other sites
Fitzpatrick Speed Works
You can run a forward facing plenum thats not a problem just a gtr one will lose you power as the rb20/25 heads dont have the same port angles as the rb26 head and the plenum doesnt suite it and from my experience, reading it done on a rb20 in zoom, and seeing it done on a 25 they both lost power, same with moving the throttle body to the front on a rb25 standard intake they always lose power especially mid range!!! R31Nismoid
Any more info on loss of power? Yep, the stock one is totally fine for over 300rwkw, no need to change something that works just for the sake of spending $$$$$ Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/94321-does-a-rb26-plenum-fit-onto-rb25de/#findComment-1707298 Share on other sites
