Engineers Report

Hey guys,

Recently (3 months ago) I got defected pretty hard.

Basically, 2 of the defects which are affecting me are -

The main one is behind my cooler, there was some bits of the chasis poking out, nothing major, but it was gridinded back slightly to accomodate for the cooler.

The other thing was my fibreglass bonnet.

The bonnet can be replaced thats easy, but I've called a few engineers, and they dont even want to touch the car let alone look at it.

Can anyone help out here, cuase I need to get my car back on the road to sell it, as its been in my garage collecting dust, which is a shame.

I have heard of mechanics who buy repariable writeoffs, and get them fixed and egineered and registered, so surley something this minor to the chasis can be rectified and signed off...I just dont konw where to go any more.

Any urgent help would be greatley appreciated.

What car is it? whats been done to it?

What State are you in?

You shouldn't need an engineer report to remove defects. Simply take it to your local authority with the defects removed and they should inspect and lift the notice if it passes.
