Fuel Tank Float

My fuel gauge was reading full all the time so i got into the tank and found the sender just floating round. I put it back up on the bracket but now it reads completly empty so im thinking its rooted (sound right?)

So i would like to know if it is possible for r33 float/sender to be interchanged with the r32 float/sender cause i've seen alot more 32 wrecks than 33's in the for sale section

My car is a 33gtst

I don't think you can use them. The pumps run a totally different setup in both cars. 32's are so hard to come by now - Try giving Cresta a call. 3245 1555.
