When I first had mine installed i'd get a vibration when doing 100-110km/h on the freeway and nowhere else. That has since disappeared (cant remember when and I didnt change anything).

The backend is sooo predictable with the pineapples in, actually I never get sideways anywhere.

OKay, so after going for an hour long drive and around some very nice corners and seeing the guys who installed the things, I am happy.

The car just sticks now, the threshold of traction is higher.

The sound I'm hearing also isn't a vibration as such, just that the back end is all solid now and a bt more sound comes through.

I like em now.

Is everyone aware that there are three ways to install the "Pineapples",

1-Standard-rear subframe alignment normal

2-Drag-rear subframe declined to promote squat

3-Drift - rear subframe inclined to inhibit squat

Another thing to consider is the state of your stock subframe bushes which contain a fluid to minimise hash ride, noise and vibrations.

In my case two of the four had busted and there was severe movement in the rear end, also very noisy over bad roads and severe wheel hopping when launching hard.

Pinapples only work when installed with the original fluid bushes.

You cannot purchase these bushes from anywhere. You can only buy a subframe from a wrecked car and swap the whole thing over- big job!

Instead i had solid aluminium bushes installed that completely lock the subframe rigid to the chassis.

Very responsive steering and rear end control but extreme harshness thru suspension and vibrations from the driveline at 40-45KPH

when you say 'three settings' i am a bit lost. from what i can tell, you can install then above or below your subframe to alter the angle it sits, ie: squat or poise. so how do you position them to achive the std setting?

cheers!

Installation instructions

There is a PDF which explains it.

Basically the way you orientate the diff, either inclined one way or the other or just locked up in standard effects the way it works.

One way will induce squat (Drag for fast launches) and the other will work against squat to stifen up the rear end for drifting.
