Quick Turbo Question(help)

just a question to anyone who knows more about turbos than me.. (probly everyone)lol

I have a RB20DET in my R32 GTS-t and i have noticed alot now that when i have been out strappin around. When the TT finishes and motor shuts off, i can Still hear the turbo spinning for a good 5 seconds after motor has stoped..

my question is. Is this normal or is something not good????

Like it doent grind down or anything, but i can hear the turbo wheels still spinning for a while. maybe i have only just noticed it.. fully unsure, please help

Its 100% normal for this to occur.

Its 100% normal....if you have a ball bearing turbo

I'm pretty sure the rb20 came with a plain bush turbo so you might have something special on board

hehe nick (amaru)'s turbs spin for aaaaages after shut down nothing to worry about

sweet thanks guys... was a little worried.. i think it started to do this after i killed a CAT

mine spins for nearly a minute after the TT turns the car off. Ball bearings are good.
