Hey people's I've wanted a monster for so long, almost bought the JUN stoker kitted GTR r34, really fell in love with the Leewah but can't afford it, now the opportunity has come to get exactly what I've wanted in an import.

I have a few questions to the addicts as I join the clan of japaense supercar owners

-my monster has a stoker kit and t88 34d (oil cooler n pump upgraded fuel etc etc etc.) now I don't know Anthony Scali personally (latest HPI says he uses his r32 as a daily dirver) but do many others out there drive 10 sec cars as thier daily driver?

-what kind of motorsport can a modified GTR R33 compete in other than the obvious drag for which it is already set up?

-what are the R33s strengths (if any) over the r32 and r34?

When I get it i'll send pics and let you all know about it

Thanks

Darryl

Hi Darryl,

The price of my car has come down considerably since first advertised and if you truely are interested in purchasing it, we can discuss. Send me a PM if you like.

To answer your questions...

do many others out there drive 10 sec cars as thier daily driver?

I doubt many people out there would drive their 10 sec GTRs on a daily basis considering the price of fuel these days. I work in the city and commuting in and out of city traffic in peak hour with my car would be ridiculous. When I'm racing or going for a fang, the noise of the exhaust, the stiff suspension and heavy clutch don't bother me. In peak hour though, it's the last thing I want. I want leather, a good stereo which doesn't have to compete with the exhaust, it needs to be ecomonical and I don't want to worry about it parked in a carpark with 11ty billion sh|teboxes around me.

-what kind of motorsport can a modified GTR R33 compete in other than the obvious drag for which it is already set up?

Circuit racing is another form or racing you can use your 33 for. The RacePace Motorsport 3.0L R33 GTR is doing 1:15 laps of Sandown on semi comps which is only 3 secs off the pace of a V8 Supercar. If the car is correctly setup, there's no reason why you can't circuit race a 33 GTR sucessfully.

-what are  the R33s strengths (if any) over the r32 and r34?

It's more comfortable and modern than the 32. The interior is far superior to the 32 in every way. I hated the dials on the dash for headlights and that kinda crap. The finish in the 33 is easier to live with than a 32. I beleive the boot is bigger than a 34 if you are going to use it. I use my GTR for golf so I still have to be able to fit my set aswell as a mates set in the boot on most weekends.

As the 34 is newer, the interior is once again more modern and comfortable than the 33. Possibly not as much room inside but it feels more snug. The 33 gives the sense it's is more of a barge inside rather than a race car.

Anyhoo, hope this answers your questions. Shoot me a PM if you're still interested in my car.

Cheers,

Dave.
