Let's a get a few people together and plan to make the 23rd mainly skylines :O

I'm IN for the 23rd! Who else?

I've been with some mates to a couple of these days and they are the best! The sprinkler system keeps the sliding happening, so you dont have to have a 300000000KW machine, and you don't really need to worry about your tyres.... much :)

LETS DO IT!

If my car is back on the road by then, I'm definitely in!! I sent my booking form in for the 9th, and had an accident the day after :O

Hopefully my car should be back on the road and I can come along on the 23rd!

I've had like zero professional driver training, is this kinda thing ok for that?? Or would there be better places to start??

(not interested in being race car driver, just want to control my car better)

I'd probably suggest a defensive driver training course first.

Skid pan work is great for working out how to bring a car back once you lose control, but a defensive driver training course would hopefully stop you from getting into one in the first place.

    • 50L plastic butcher's bins with or w/o lids are good for storing various parts and smaller boxes of part on shelves. I've taken to writing a manifest on blank paper in texta and sticking it on the front of any such box, whether it is that sort of tub or just a cardboard box. Ditto to smaller boxes inside. I can not give you ideas on how to be more ruthless or better organised than that, because I suspect that my shed is worse than yours.
    • i have 2 MTX thunder amps they do have the line input aswell but i have no idea where the connectors are to use. so for ease of being able to run 2 sets of RCA leads im just using the convertor.
    • The existing factory sub feed should already have a sum of L+R and a low pass filter, so it probably isn't necessary to take another L and R feed from the HU.  If it didn't have a factory sub output, then that would be the best option though. Does your new amp not have speaker level inputs?  that would eliminate the need for the speaker - line level converter completely.
