New Ea Sports 06 Titles

hey guys how are we?

just wondering if many have played or see the new range of EA SPORTS 2006 games (FIFA '06, MADDEN '06, NBA LIVE '06 ect.)

from what ive seen they are a huge step up from last year, but havnt played them yet so not sure about gameplay which is importaint too

whats all your opinions on it and has anyone played any titles yet?

As for soccer games Fifa used to be good until the pro evolution titles came in. I definatley agree being a hardcore soccer fan by FAR pro evolution soccer 5 is the best soccer game by farrrrrr.

seen some screen shots of Madden 2006 and that looks real to the last detail at times

not a huge fan of sports games but is of RTS there r some decdent ones of late Dragonshard Earth 2160 Age of Empires 3 highly recommended and Quake4 but thats not a RTS...

i think its stupid that you have to pay another $100 or so each year ea update the games and re-release then. you should get a discount if you take last years copy and let them scan the barcode. like a rebate system. ea has you as a valued customer and as such you get the latest copy of the same game for cheaper, say $49 instead or RRP. bugger paying $100 each year

wicked point accually, never thought of that

would be a good idea...would end up getting them more customers as well and more profit anyway

worst part is gameplay changes alot with EA and sometimes it comes to the point of returning the game...which is hard sometimes

an example would be FIFA 03 to FIFA 04....gameplay IMO of FIFA 03 was great then 04 was rediculous

I guess you can always trade the old versions in when you buy the new version. I think Electronics Boutique gives you a pretty good discount off new games when you trade in old ones...

I don't really play many games on my X-box other than buying FIFA every year. FIFA06 is pretty good and an improvement on 05 in most areas. My mates got both FIFA06 and Pro Evo soccer 5 and reckons that is Pro Evo is heaps better though...

Football manager is one of those games that u either play it non stop or u dont play it at all main aimed at die hard soccer fans heard abit about it but yea only if u really into club soccer

i bought fifa 06 as i have done with every copy of the fifa series for ps2 since 2001 and must say i am quite dissapointed, i am not sure about the rest of you but every year they seem to improve a lot of things however at the same time other features of the game arent as good, i have heard good things about the pro evolution series in the past though, from the sounds of it it might be worth changing loyalties
