Ultimate Shortage

Apparently due to a plant break-down in Perth there is a shortage of BP Ultimate in the state. (actually in the whole country)

Has anyone seen any servo's in the last day or so that still has some?

Negative Capt. I was looking for it for a while too. Ended up going the Synergy route coz I passed a Mobil.

On another note though, I hear Sloptimax Extreme got released yesterday.

I will contact our BP Account Manager shortly and see if they can shed any light on Vic or servos with some.

The shortage has affected the whole country apparently. Its just taken a while to filter through to here. But I've been told that we have had one shipment that will last a few station a few days but then we'll see nudda until Mid Dec.

Apparently already a lot of Vic stations are out.

And my work BP card says I don't want to use anything other than BP! LOL

that y when i tried to fill up yesturday with BP ultimate in Glen waveley all the ultimate pumps were "Out of Order"

the shortage in perth was like a couple of days ago, surely it dosen't take 2 days for a fuel shortage to get here.

Ah well perfect timing to try out this Shell Extreme stuff

Yeah there was a shipment to Vic which only some stations got which is why I'm trying to find out which stations have some!

I now know Bundoora and Birghton have some.

The stuff you get in Melbourne doesn't come from the Kwinana (Perth) refinery, so supply in Melbourne won't be affected.

Actually, I'm in Perth right now - noticed the local BP had shut down a couple of its pumps. But price still coming down (114.9 ULP)

The BP on Warriagal Rd near the SE Arterial was out on Sat as was the BP on Swan St in Richmond as was the BP on Church St

That's good enough enough for me to say there's a shortage.

a lot of car manufactures tell u to stay away from the stuff

someone correct me if im wrong but my understanding is thats it's a big issue for cars especially the type we all drive... dont know what a 5% ethanol would do and if rnning 100%octane will impact our cars/ tunes etc...
