Gb: R33 Gts-t And Gtr And R34 Gtt Radiator Guides

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

The drawings of the samples had some glitches which is why they wont be ready until tomorrow at 10am.

I'll bend them tomorrow before our Committee meeting in Melbourne and hopefully I can trial fit them to Al's R33 GTS-T and then I'll hunt down an R33 GTR to fit it too as well.

Once I'm happy, I'll ask for the cash.

I'm also making up a bunch of sheetmetal boxes for the guides so they wont be damaged in transit and so that I can send them via the Post and not TNT, hopefully I can save you all some money that way, but I'm not sure yet.

Oo..oks..np..I'm just worried I got missed out of this group buy since noe msg...

but's it's all good..take your time Bass~~

thanks

I have just picked up the blanks and I'll be bending them tonight and playing with them.

Should have a go ahead within the next few days.

Hey guys.

well, I picked up the samples today, and although they are the wrong thickness (2.0mm insted of 1.0mm) they are good enought to become my hacks for design work.

I have bent them up according to my drawings so tonight and Saturday (at the SAU VIC BBQ) I will be testing them on cars.

Once that's done, I'll be finalising this group buy.

Thanks for your patience.

Note, in that picture you can see that the bends are quite a large radius which will be remedied when I use the 1.0mm steel insted of the 2.0mm that this is.

They look pretty damn good.. even with the large radius bends. Can't wait to see how they fit on the cars. Take plenty of pics!

hey Bass - if the top radiator hood in the pic you took is the R34GTT one, you have 'bent' it inside out - the hood catch needs to be slightly to the right of the catch hole - not the left.

And for everyone else's info, I bought mine from Bass's last group buy around 6 months ago and the product is bloody brilliant, and worth well more than the small fee he is charging for them! He was a great guy to deal with too. Buy, buy, buy!!

I think I paid about $100 for it. Cheapest (and probably the best looking) mod I have done to the 34 :D

Yep, about $80 plus postage.

The one on the top is the R33 GTS-T

The one on the bottom is the R33 GTR

But hey, looking at is now, it sure does look like I've bend them the wrong way doesn't it. What a nuff nuff I am!!!!

Lucky, I can bend them back cos the samples are so damn think!!!

Bass,

wondering if you can get other colour finish..those cyan colour looking..

don't mind paying a bit extra if you can get them in that colour..

thanks
