Frequency Exander

Hey Guys,

Well I've just got myself a freq expander for my Jap spec radio. I got it second hand so there are no instructions. Can some please give me instructions on what wires go where? I can spot once connection that go'e into the aerial output of that deck and I'm left with two remaining wires. I'm assuming one of them is to connect to the exiting aerial but what do i do with the other one?

Also.....How exactly does that expander work? I understand it adds 30MHZ onto the freq bank but does that mean the lowest freq I can get will now be around 100MHZ? (lowest freq on the standard deck is around 77)

Any help would be great.

10-20 mhz down shift actually. post a shot of the one you have and I'll tell you how to use it.
