have fun trying to find someone to do it... i rang around a lot of places, and they wouldn't do it, as it is a competing product against their own... geez, not even the Whiteline Distributor (Fulcrum) would fit it.... In the end i settled on a Workshop, but i will never go there again due to numerous problems with their work, and am actually taking them to court over it....

They're just on the northside of the city (lutwyche/windsor area) but i'm not going to name names due to legal reasons... but i'm sure you can figure it out from the above info...

(and no, i'm not going to tell anyone via pm either)

Very strange. Maybe it depends on what amount of gear they are fitting? :)

thats strange, seeing as Fulcrum Stafford are one of the places who refused to fit my whiteline gear, and instead told me to buy their 'superpro' bushes or go elsewhere...

pisses me off places that refuse to fit anything that they don't sell themselves..

with half the pain you go trying to find out finding a decent place, better off learning how to do it yourself..

I had a similar experience with fulcrum dealer down on the goldcoast.

hey,

i got one of sydneykid's kits and got it installed at my mechanic's place down the road. called GMR genuine mechanical repairs in woolloongabba, speak to john he'll look after you and won't rip you off. then i just took it over to fulcrum to get it aligned. john can get a mobile guy in to do the alignment if you'd prefer.

hope that helps. :)

What did he install for you, did you get the whole SK package?

Im only after front camber/castor rear camber installer. Have no issues doing shocks and swaybrars but form the looks of the suspension arms you need special tools to press the old bushes out and the new ones in. I have a press but not the tools. :(

If i could buy them from whiteline i would then i could fit this stuff for others as well. ..

Frustrating, but cheers again guys.

Mick

I am paying $500 for camber, castor pineapples and 4 wheel alignment.

As I don't have time to do this myself I thought it was a good price. What do you guys reckon?

Cheers Pete

How much are you guys paying for fitting and allignment of the kits?

Does allignment include camber, castor and the rest etc.. adjustment as well?

Hi guys.

Thought I would follow up on my suspension fit out at Stafford Fulcrum. Everything except for 1 thing went according to plan at Fulcrums. Apparently the left hand upper rear camber had slipped, so they couldn't dial in the setting that I was after. One of the guys said it would cost me $200 to get it sorted, however after speaking with Terry, there was no extra charge.

All in all the car feels much firmer both in the steering and also the rear end. I am yet to take it for a spirited drive due to the weather. I will also monitor the tyre wear over the next few thousand kms and change the cambers accordingly.

I also had a lenghty discussion with Terry regarding their Fulcrum Stafford store refusing to do whiteline installations. What he said was...and I quote, "We will never turn away business, we can't afford to do so, the market is too competitive".

He did however acknowledge that there have been a few employees from other stores come over to Stafford, and they may have been the ones to give the wrong information. He has assured me that they will do "ANY and ALL" fitment work on "ANY BRANDS" as long as it is safe to do so with the supplied hardware.

I hope this helps some people on the Northside. As I said before, I found Fulcrums to be quite competive on price and also very courteous in the way they carried out their work.

Cheers

Pete

hey mate...

i was in no way intending to bag Fulcrum out at all, sorry if it appeared that way, i was just passing on my experiences with them... was quite possibly one of those 'other guys' that i spoke to when i called up about my whiteline gear... I was a bit dissapointed when they said that, as i've had a fair bit of other work done by them, and been very happy every time, and wanted to use them again...

Don't be sorry mate. I know you weren't bagging Fulcrum, and at the same time, I am not saying that Fulcrum are the best fitters in Brisbane. I just wanted to share my experiences and also to let people know that Fulcrum Stafford in most circumstances are Whiteline fitting friendly.
