Deca Day #2 Pics & Discussion

Well what can i say what a fantastic Wang weekend away. I haven’t had so much fun in a long time... Was great to see some new faces that i hadn't meet before not only from SAU but also from the WRX club... Massive thanx to the organisers of this weekend you guys did a fantastic job... Would also like to send out a HUGE thanx to Jarrod for letting me take his 32 for a quick burn was great.. And also to all the other guys who took me for a burn on the skid pan ..... Thanx Saff for driving me up there really appreciate it mate, and also thanx to Chris for dropping me home…

Im cooked red but to watch all competitors launching off from the Long wang was well worth it... Great to also see a few new timers getting out on the track and giving it all they could and doing a great job of it so well done to all those that for the first time and gave it a go...

I don’t have to say anything about last night other than Team Wang went hard and did us all proud... Thanx to Blaze for finding some Guinness couldn’t have a Wang weekend away with out some Wang Bangers .....

Hope everyone enjoyed themselves and look forward to seeing you all at the next event…..

Well another well organised SAU/WRX DECA day! Kudos to the people that organise these days and all the volunters that stood around ALL day making the day run smoothly. Everyones efforts are much appreciated.

Found it amusing that the first DECA day, no one seemed super keen and we only filled half the field (didn't bother us that turned up tho hehe) and this time, there weren't enough spots!!! Guess highlight videos of the days antics will always raise more interest

Looking forward to seeing the video and photos once the camera crews have sorted thru it all!

After 2 DECA days, I still haven't mastered how to stop the Titanic from spinning around, maybe I'll work it out on the next one....can't wait!

why do people take off there number plates  ?

Yep, that was me.

Will most probably not be going to Summernats '06, as there is another event in Phillip Island, at the same time .

But the committee has lightly discussed the idea of holding a National cruise/event in Canberra. Hopefully it will come together and various states will participate.
