makes good sense, cheers. The way I was thinking, line up cone C, go over it, take a 5 sec penalty and not reduce your speed in the chicane.

Technically as long as you clock the whole course in 39 seconds at top speed (as you won't be slowing down for chicanes), if you take a 15 point hit in penalties for knocking 3 cones, you could have equalised with Chris for top time

Hehe nice plan, but I doubt your 5 seconds would have been made up on the speed I kept through those things. I was still on boost in 2nd and used the grass through two of them on my fastest run. Was a little scarey and still dont know how I didn't hit one, but I get lots of practise at chicanes round my back streets.

Been told i did pretty badly , but i was having too much fun! And it took me half a day to get used to the new engine setup and it's corresponding lag .

Thanks to everyone who made this event happen. The layouts and track sections were great. Can't complain about the time on the track, but would have loved to have at least one extra run at each 'khana as it takes good 2 runsd to get hang of it and rememeber the layout ... at least for me. Personaly I'd say that it would run better if there were 15 cars less.

Also thanks to everyone who participated as it made for great vieweing while I was waiting :-)

Suggestion re the results. It would be great to see the time that eveyone got without the 'penalties'. Ie. have 2 columns for each run, one showing the actual time, and the other showing the 'penalty' time run up on that 'khana.

Hi David, Have a closer look at the results .pdf You will see that there is more than one page. The other pages have the times and penalties seperatly.

Thanks Chris ... that's a nice trick :-) That's the info I was after. Though, I noticed than on the 'khana #1 the 5sec penalty against my name is in a wrong column. I got the 1st run right, but got 'lost' on the 2nd one ... not that it makes any difference.
