Currently. This is just to see the interest in those wanting to purchase a Nismo Leather Gear Knob for their R33 Skyline.

The gear knob has a greater feel for when changing gears and is designed for any 5speed R33 GTS-T manual gearbox. It's 10mm and able to screw straight onto any GTS-T gear stick that hasn't been modified.

It may also be able to fit onto a R33 GT-R and possibly any R32 or R34. However, it is recommended before purchasing one of these that you check the gear stick and that it is 10mm.

Start date: 22nd November, 2005.

End date: 28th November, 2005.

Please note:

This is only to see the interest from those wanting to purchase one of these gear knobs. If I see the interest of 10 or more wanting to purchase one of these, I'll go through with the order.

Price: $74.95 which also includes postage from Brisbane.

I'm interested but admittedly have not measured my gearknob (Stock Series II R33 GTS25T) and will be emailing a mate of mine to see if he is keen too. Are these genuine?

I'd just started looking into these and found items for $100 delivered so thought this was a good price. Upon looking at Nengun, I see it's a little over priced perhaps.

I didnt even look at the Nengun site.

I found another site that was offering it at the price I've offered them at above including postage of course.

Just looked at the Nengun website and they aren't offering discounted prices on bulk purchases.

I'll look further into other posibilties tomorrow while at work and see what I can come up with then.

Just to confirm, they are in Japan right? as the freight prices seem a bit much.

Dezz: How much longer til she arrives mate? (You are the dude who pm'd me about my car right?) :)

lol yeah dont wanna get this thread off topic, but yeah my car is in brisbane today or tomorrow.

as for the GB. nengun are in japan. and for items like these, the postage is about $20...and unfortunately they dont send things with combined postage total.... i priced 3 items (clear indicators, nismo key, and this gear knob) all had about $20 postage....but still work out well cheaper than anywhere else ive seen.

Yer, I really like the Nismo Leather Gearknob, hopefully r33skyliner can come up with something price wise =)

Awesome news on the car, so close you can taste it hey.....

Having been in that situation (waiting) and coming from a similar car to you, god damn you are gonna love it =D Don't even say the words Fuel Economy for a while and don't be surprised when you drop the clutch and leave two big black marks from the rear, that's right... TWO marks and from the REAR. LoL None of this single spinner from the front junk =D

Woops, Thread Hijack Detected =\

yea it will fit. Ive got one in my car.

Okay..... seems as though the best option i'm going to be able to do is around the $65-$70 mark.

Of course, this is coming from Nengun....

a) I'll purchase them all in bulk so that they all arrive here in the one package.

B) Once received, I've then got to send them out to you. So the extra $5-$10 ontop of the nengun price will include the cost of posting it from me to you.

Now, Nengun being a business and I know how businesses think these days, it would probably be best to have it posted all in bulk for 1 reason - The bigger the order you place with a company like Nengun, the more quicker they'll send the box out to you.

example -

I order 11 gear knob sticks (total of $660) and someone else orders 1x gear knob. Which do you think the business is more interested in making happy and making sure they return again?

This I know from 2 experiences...

1) Running my own business (though you may say this is bad business on my behalf. But when you have someone buying things in bulk, you look after them a bit better).

2) When I use to work in a computer store.

Only reason I state $5-$10 for postage is cause I wont know the exact cost of the postage for it till it arrives and I can then take it down to Aust. Post and have it weighed.

    • It only looks tidy, as most of the stuff that was on the whole back wall, is now in the trailer to go to the tip, or has been shoved in my 2.2x2.4m "Spare parts room", and now I can't get to anything in there Ha ha ha I could definitely do with a bit more space, but I'd just end up with your problems I'm going to enclose the car port beside the garage, and move a lot of stuff into it I think. OR... It will be setup as a fabrication area, and the main garage will have parts storage in it. I'm not sure yet... Need some pictures of that big shed you've got with the bikes and Skyline in
    • No. I think it's gone. 😭 I think you can get body coloured ones on eBay so I think I'll get one of those... Or just hang a red ribbon from the hole and whack a TOW sticker next to it.
    • Can't say I've had a bad experience with one on my car, then again it only gets washed once or twice a year... The wheels on the other hand, get a good spray often due to my shitty dusty pads.
    • @MBS206 thats pretty neat and tidy to me!  I'll get a photo of mine when I'm out there next. It might require multiple photos to understand the scale of the atrocities though... In total I have 4 sheds of varying sizes and layouts. Main shed is 14x8, second shed is 3x8, third shed is 11x2.5, fourth shed is around 6x4.  All are pretty much full.   The main goal of my cleaning tsunami is to make the main shed predominantly car and motorbikes only. Second shed is my metal fab room (2 x bench grinders, drill press, bench belt sander, metal band saw, scrap metal storage and some of my garden tools.  3rd shed is more bigger garden stuff, storage for engine crane, jack stands, concrete grinder, concrete mixer, air compressor lives there, and it now has two 2mx2m pallet racking shelves with itemised boxes holding building stuff, electrical stuff, plumbing stuff, etc, etc.  The 4th shed is Ryobi electric ride on mower, mini boom sprayer, ancient Kubota tractor, more garden stuff!  I have got a lot of shit....  Then there's the pool house (8mx4m) and the pool pump shed (4mx4m).  I built all of the sheds over the 11 years we've been here.  The main shed was a Ranbuild kit, the rest are all custom made to fit the areas available. Building the main shed taught me a LOT as I had no idea about building anything prior to that!  I've still got one more in me. It will be my man cave which I poured the extra concrete for way back when I poured the concrete for the main shed. The idea is the Skyline will be a centre piece of the main cave once (if...) it's finished.  I told my now 14 year old son yesterday that I will 100% drive him to his year 10 formal in 2 years. Still a long way off but at least I now have a date to work towards! 🤣
