Well I've already done the suspension but only half installed the new guages.

I'm replacing the ugly hose to the catch can today with a nice smooth black one.

Front bar goes back on and the rest of the dash after lunch.

Just organised all my insurance. Switched to Shannons for Comp and Allianz for CTP.

With any luck I'll be pink slipped this afternoon and registered late today or more likely tomorrow morning.

Small update.

I'm on hols so no big details or pics here but I have done the run in and put some more boost into it. Running 0.9 bar now.

The mid range feels so strong now I hardly go near the redline. I can't wait until I can put some more boost in and rev it up.

I notice the slightly different sounds of the pistons. I now understand what people say about forged piston noise. It's only just noticeable and only because I know my car.

The cams have made the car a little wobbly on start up and given it a slightly lumpy idle. When cold the idle is quite erratic but once warmed up it's just a slight lope. It definitely sounds beastier now.

More updates to come.

just curious about some 52mm boost, exhaust gas and oil temp guages for the standard guage pod.

I would like anyone who pulls apart their gauge pod to measure and measure and measure to see what fits in there.

Check out what I just found.

Defi gauges behind the standard pod.

I've never found this before, so now I'm happy!

also, some other general photos of R34 interiors. Check out that shifter!!!

Pete,

* The internal diameter of the stock GTT guage holes is 60mm

* Defi BF guages (amber or white dial) are only available in 60mm

Therefore the Defi BF (60mm) gauges will fit fine as you can see from the pics, but the bezel will be mounted outside the hole.

This pic shows Defi black 60mm gauges (not BF) fitted.
