How Hard To Make Own Dump Pipe?

I have an awesome welder who i work with and he owes me a favour

Has anyone made their own dump pipe before? if so how hard is it to fit/match flanges to fit cat etc?

I can get 3 1/2' flanges and stainless tubing for $120 and free welding.

Can it be tacked off the car (i aquired an old dump pipe to use as reference) or would it be easier to just buy the lot

I have 3 1/2 cat back exhaust and need to fill in the gap (cat and dump pipe)

Any advice if it is worth the effort, if not any good places in sydney (i am about to move to Sydney in a few weeks) for this sort of thing would be great, or even online sites for cat.

I have a 3" dump and front pipe for sale if you're interested. I purchased it from BATMBL (SEE HERE) about 6 months ago.

It's a direct fit for an R33 and in new near condition. I'm only selling it as I've just upgraded my turbo and had to get a new dump fabricated.

Its easy and cheap to buy one for a GTSt so not really worth the bother. BATMBL on this site sells great dump pipes and cats. Look in the business for sale forum:
