Found this in a car yard when I was in Dubai last time. 4000km on the clock. Appart from being dirty and someone had badged it, It was like brand new and went for a steal. 110,000 Dirham's. That converts to around $40,000 aus. I couldn't believe it. I was a day late, It had already been bought by a mad Scottsman that was working over there. Dubai is a great place f you want to get really cheap car's.

I believe John's old R34GTR came from Dubai

.... and those photos of the red R34GTR - 4,000km my ass - it had a big single aftermarket turbo on it .... you don't do that to a brand new car - surely???!!!!

Oh, and Hi Greg, hope your Middle East trip is going well! ;)

they also wear some pretty weird clothes. i havent seen anyone in a white looking kimono in a 10 second gtr before. if they are as fanatical as their cars as they are in their attire then we should see some crazy cars from the middle east soon. good to see the skylines are getting some world-wide recognition that they deserve!!

It does take a bit to get used to, them wearing the white x-ray gowns.

Either way, I'd tend to stay away from Dubai, I understand it is very much Westernised but none the less there is still a high risk.

I thought the same until i was there. It is just a big westernised tourist city and the locals know it. Had no problems over there. But, everyone has their own opinion on the matter:)
