Sony is still tossing over the blu-ray players being built in.

PS3 for me regardless.

lol dude first off the systems are very close in terms of graphics and performance.

Gezz I don't know what you call 'close' because the PS3 is twice as powerful in system specs. And at this level of technology, that's a fair bloody jump.

but I like underdogs and the PS3 is an underdog in the console playing field  B)

Underdog :| Microsoft is still in deficit with their XBOX, they sell the console at a loss just trying to get into the heavily dominated Playstation gaming market. They're yet to make $1 profit. They expect to finally start making a profit with the 360, 'expect'. Playstation has always had the pole position vs xbox & with the new PS3 console being twice as powerful as the 360 & better games, I think Sony will continue to lead the way. Underdog? I think you’ve got PS3 confused with infact XBOX.

Ps3 is not twice as powerful as Xbox 360 because it doesn’t even exist yet.

You actually believe anything Sony has to say about a console that hasn’t even been made yet?

If Sony can make you believe all this about something that doesn’t even exist yet then they have a licence to print money and we might as well all buy shares in their company.

Last time I checked we were all gamers, not some Microsoft or Sony fan club.

Xbox 360 will be out a full year or so before ps3 in Australia, if you can afford one, and like playing games why the hell wouldn’t you buy one?

If ps3 comes out and is great and has good games and you can afford to, why the hell wouldn’t you buy one?

End of story.

farcry for pc is kinda old now im sure if they wanted to remake it for pc they could use the best possible graphics and it would dominate the xbox.

when have you ever seen water like that in any pc game?

You cant really compare consoles and pc's, they provide vastly different functions.

Thats why people with pc's still buy consoles.

The only reason I attempted to compare them was because of the post a few above made a statement that really doesnt hold much truth to it. I have no doubt in a few years pc's will be vastly superior to xbox 360 and ps3 but at the moment I dont know anyone who has a better pc system then an xbox 360.

I know you dont menco.

To build one you would have to spend about 10 times the cost of an xbox 360. Who would bother when you can just get a console and sit around on your leather couches with your mates and play some widescreen action?

    • Depends how low and tyre size. Should fit with natural camber, skinny tyres and rolled guards.
    • Hi guys, planning to get 18x9 +25 in fronts and 18x10 +25 in rears been reading the whole thread and cant really find anything   Anyone know if these will fit a r34 gtt with no scrubbing or guard work needed?

    • I mean yes, if you're starting from scratch on an unknown engine yes you don't need to be doing all kinds of math in the background but if you're doing relatively minor changes like AFM + injectors + boost up with some aftermarket turbos it takes quite a bit of math if you want to do something like maintain OEM fuel + timing tables but compressed and then a bit more load scale up top. I think I've spent too much time working on big engineering nightmares though so I'm a big fan of trying to constrain the scope of whatever work I'm doing as much as possible and trying to get it right before moving on. For example, a local owner just did the usual E85 + single turbo conversion to his R32 GTR and nearly burned his car to the ground doing some spirited driving up the local mountains. Turbine is unshielded and too close to the hood insulation. It's tough to balance "just get the project done" and "seemingly small details can cause massive setbacks I'm not willing to deal with".
