stock boost is about 9 psi (0.7 Bar) if my memory serves me right

but be warned if you intend on boosting it up on stock turbos DO NOT go any higher than 14psi (1.0 Bar)

and grats the the buy i own a R32 GTR as well and i love my car

I have a boost guage that measures KG/CM2 and am registering 0.5. Seems low.

The standard guage is only hitting the mark between 0 and 7. Feels a little soft.

Any further info would be great.

I recently bought an R32 GTR too, and sussed this all out.

1bar = 1.02 kg/cm^2

so for the accuracy of these gauges, they are the same thing.

standard boost on R32 GTR is 0.7bar = 10.2psi = 7 on the standard gauge

I have heard talk on here of the standard gauge being unreliable though. it might be best to fit an aftermarket gauge, or go to a good workshop and road test the car with a good quality gauge temporarily attached.

i thought the standard gauge is in mm/hg? not kg/cm2.

yes, the standard gauge is not much use. best off to use an aftermarket gauge to check it out.

Vacuum is measured in mm/Hg. Boost measured in kpa/psi/bar/what have you.
