Figure I might as well post this here, just incase any of you guys or your friends are interested...

Specs are below (I'll also post some pictures).

Looking for best offer over $13,000.

I've owned the car for the last 3 & a half years & it owes me over $35,000... I dont want to sell it at all, but the time has come.

It was featured in Fast Fours Magazine in April 2002, and I am located in Sydney.

Serious replies only thankyou, this is hard enough for me as it is, and please guys, if youve got any questions & are genuinely interested in buying the car, please email me at [email protected]

And please, once again, no time wasters, tyre kickers or test pilots... genuine enquiries only, thanks. (I really want it to go to someone who'll take it out to the track & drive it the way it was intended to be.)

This is the nicest AE86 I have ever seen, and I saw a *LOT* in Japan, so that's not a meaningless statement.

I can't believe you're selling it?!?!

gtst88,

certain parts are quite easy to obtain, but most of the Jap-spec parts like ive got on my car are pretty hard to come across, and if you do happen to come across them are very expensive. luckily, my car already features all the good stuff, including a JDM gearbox, 20V engine conversion (its a lot harder to do than most people realise) and the disc-brake rear end with LSD. (this diff set up alone - if you can find one - will go for over $2500 by itself & they are very much in demand). there is absolutely nothing to spend on my car... its all there. when people tell you that it's the best there is, believe them. :P

Merli,

I can't believe i'm selling it either... :)

but unfortunately, i need a house to live in, so the car has to make way for it, unfortunately. :P

i never ever planned on selling this car... its my baby & ive looked after it accordingly... if anyone would like to donate $13,000 to the 'Mr 20V Foundation' so that i dont have to sell it, then please do so... it would be most appreciated. :D

I see a photo of it at Wakefield...what sort of lap times is it doing?

cheers

RAVE

that day i was doing consistent 1'19"s apparently... although it was my first time out at the track & i was driving like a dumbshit (Merli knows exactly what i'm talking about - he was there. :P) just trying to drift everywhere while i had the opportunity to do so in a safe environment. i also had street tyres on. - was able to hold off my friend in a modified S15 all day too.

not to make excuses, but the point is that the car itself is capable of some very quick times... theyre still so popular over in Japan for a very good reason. ;)

Well worth $13,000... so saddened to see people yielding to necessity.

T.

yeah, i'm pretty sad about it myself... :)

forgot to mention that when i was at Wakefield, it was before i had installed the coilovers & had sorted out the suspension... i can guarantee it handles 5 times better now & is capable of some ballistic lap times... :)

inark,

thanks mate. :)

im not much into stereos, i'd much rather listen to the quad throttles (you should hear em open up on full-tap!!! :))

but it does have a Clarion detatchable CD tuner & a pair of Kicker co-axials in the dash. ive also got a second set of door trims, with pods housing a set of MB-QUART 6.5" splits, but theyre not in the car at the moment. ive got no need for them, however, so theyll obviously be included. (theyre the door trims visible in the interior photo above)

ive been getting quite a bit of interest in the car too...

i wish i didnt have to sell. once it goes, im honestly gonna cry for days... :D

insurance is okay, i have it insured through Vigil, but only third party at the moment, because i'm a tight-ass & i dont beleive in giving insurance companies my money ;). for an agreed value of $17,000 its about $2000 to insure comprehensively, with all modifications listed & accepted.

ive got no idea about how a 'rating 6' 17 year old would go about insurance in Qld, as im a 25 year old in Sydney, so you might wanna do your own research on that one, sorry. :D

at the engine, it makes about 130Kw, and and the rear wheels, 86Kw. doesnt sound like much, does it? ;) but bear in mind that the car only weighs 900kgs. :) it goes okay. ;)

and no, i havent sold it yet... :)
