R33 Gtr - Premium/ethanol 10%

Saw an article in HPI where they got an extra30kw by running ethanol blend but had to change the mixtures and fiddle with it to get it right. (car was a modded r32 gtr i think from memory)

My gtr is Standard so cant fiddle with it i dont think. but if economy or performace is better just running premium ethanol ill change.

if anyone wants the article ill dig out the issue no.

If you dont change your mixtures, u car will run more lean than with ethanol fuel

I agree, bu more importantly, if the ethanol mix is too high, that could lead to other problems. Remember the ethanol scare a couple of years ago? Everyone said it was bad stuff and now everyone says it's great! I've seen what it does to rubber hoses and plastic fuel tanks. I think I'll stick to PULP.

the article said they got more kw's but nothing about economy or if it was safe.

If i could get better economy, same power and it not hurt the car I would install a computer just so I could make it work.
