Hicas Lock Bar

anyone get a lock bar of gtr geoff from the forums...how have they found the handling,

i have had mine for about 6 months but am to lazy to fit it, just seeing if anyone fitted theirs, and how have they found it... does it rid us of that dreadfull hicas kick back that we all love, when the computer "helps" us

ive installed mine.. however i cant comment on what its like when driving, as i havent driven the car since its been on..

Yep I have installed a GTR geoff lockbar - they are very good - I have used it on the track for drifting and it feels like you are driving a different car once it is on.. its great

And it isn't hard to install either - very easy - even easier on a 33 as you guys don't have to muck around with power steering lines..

Does it make the steering feel harder like when the hicas fuse is pulled out?

Steering feels the same - possibly lighter maybe(Or I could of just imagined that) - the rear end feels very solid and it does exactly what you want it to.. Its great

Its piss easy - you definately want to do it with a couple of axle stands, I didn't have any at the time so I had to jack each side up individually.. which makes it a little harder - not impossible tho..

I could try get pics. Or just have a look in tutorials under HICAS lockbar installation..

its pretty straightforward - 2 bolts and 2 toe rods you have to bolt in..

yeah maybe one day ill get of my ass and do it, though i dont like the idea of playin around with stuff like that because im stupid and will probly come of down the high way and then i wont be a happy phill, womder who would fit them

Pretty much any workshop could do it... It is a very easy job... prolly around $200 to remove old HICAS and fit lockbar..
