Being A Passenger In Your Stagea

Well, i have sat in the passenger seat of my car heaps with mates driving, but the other day i did a first, and sat in the back seats.

Its is quite pimpalicious sitting in the back. I have to admit, i really love the lines of the rear door and the way you feel when in the rear seats.

There is enough leg room and all, and the windows just make you feel so VIP being so dark, specially with the arm rest down.

I know this car isnt anything in luxury compared to my old celsior (which i loved it backs seat too) but damn, it feels good.

Anyone else sat in the back seats?

PS. Must really compliment the engineers for the leaning rear seats and the roof arm holder things, they mesh really well together ;)

I rode in the back of mine when I first looked at it to buy, as I had my old man with me and the (then) owner in the car too. The owner took us to a nice quiet area before he let us drive, and I sat in the back behind my dad.

I gotta say, I quite liked it. Very comfortable to travel in, and enough room for me (I'm 5'10" tall, which I guess is about average for a male) to stretch out.

And yeah, those rear windows are pimpin'!

I've only sat in the back while rigging up stereo bits in the doors or cleaning out all the junk i throw back there. there is plenty of room, but i have my seat a fair way back (6'2") most of the time. only when i need to have passengers do i move it forward. the electric seat takes forever to move and is a pain to get back just how i like it.

Terminal - But when they fold down, the carpets rough. Dont forget to bring a blanket.

Sleeping the back of the car isnt that bad actually. Only issue ive got with it is that it gets REALLLLLLLLLLY cold during the night. Need to wake up, turn the car on for 10 minutes, mega heat it up an repeat in 2 hours.

I have a boot protector in mine, big plastic thing that stops the carpet getting damaged, but yes, a blanket (swag) is required

it's great with the rear sunroof uncovered or open, you can see the stars for a bit, until it fogs up

Cant fit in the back seats without the seat reclining to the rear heaps and front seats forward as far as possible.

Cant lay down in wagon space as my ankles overhang the edge!!

Thats what happens when you fill up a doorway!

my S2 doesn't have seat memory. they're electric adjust,and manual for angle in the rear.

while we're talking interior stuff,is it just me,or does anyone else think the remote back seat release levers at the back of the hatch are pretty cool?

Seriously folks, if my kids could talk they would agree, being in the back seat is sic...fully sic. They look pretty chuffed though, sitting up in their maxiriders. And with those tints, just think of the money I've saved on Baby Bans.

For me the most depressing thing about those silver handles in the boot is that I cant use them...damn maxiriders. But that electric boot closer....ooh baby, silky smooth. If I ever slam it by mistake I have to open it again and let it self close, just to watch it.

P.S. Not being greedy, but no one else drives it unless their carrying a 22K bank cheque. I havent quite swallowed on the insurance premium yet.

Everyone I've shown that to agrees that it is an awesome feature!

There are so many little features in our cars that are so ahead of their time/intended market that it's a spin-out. It's all the little things that we've only just started seeing appearing on new cars, or only if you were prepared to pay prestige-car (and usually European car) money.

Oh yeah, I've let a few trusted souls drive my car since I bought it in October, and I find not only that I enjoy being a passenger, but also seeing the reaction on the faces of those who I've let drive it.
