Valve Spring Choices For Rb20

Has anybody used stiffer than standard valve springs from another engine type for the RB20DET????

Yeh looking at larger cams. Stiffer valve springs to suit would be good.

stiffer springs are just a good upgrade over old springs anyday.

im looking at a set of tomei springs even tho i have fairly mild cams (260/8.9) just as a precautionary measure.

any uprated z32 valve spring will work in the rb20 head, same goes for ca springs.......

z32 aka fairlady 300zx or 300zx, i think they have a vg30de?

V30 springs woul dhave to be pretty cheap out of the US as opposed to tryign to get CA/RB/VG springs out of Japan?????

roy, i myself used to work at a dealer so i can get nismo springs for the vg30 at nearly cost, but tomei springs work out to be a hair cheaper even from nengun.

I'll try to get a hold of some 300zx springs and do a measurement on them, find if they are suitable.

Dont understand how I could loose power with tight springs??

more friction and force to push the spring down. wouldnt be a huge loss but over all its a loss that will show up on a dyno
