Front Hub Removal

Is there any trick I sould know about the removal of my hub. One of my bearings has gone so thats my job tomorrow. I saw the DIY tute on the rotor removal and I spose its just one step on top of that???

Yeah, you have to remove the front brake caliper and rotor. Then undo the steering rack end off the hub. Undo the lower control arm and also undo the bottom of the strut. Pretty straight forward. Might have a bit of trouble getting the lower control arm bolt away from the hub, but a big lump hammer will fix that!

That would be removing the spindle as well though wouldnt it????

I've found a blow-torch to heat up the thing the bolt goes through works wonders (just be careful you don't use it on anything that's not metal)

After smacking it with a hammer for half an hour, used a blowtorch to heat it up a bit, one light tap with the hammer and it just fell out!

Is it a cefiro or r33 - they are slighlty different. I replaced a front bearing on an r33 only to find most of the noise was from the bent tailshaft

I have some pics I may be able to dig up but if cefiro then different
