Noise

When I start the gtr it makes this weird noise I have never heard on any cars before.

The noise sounds something like... air/fluid rushing through a small section to fill up a larger section. A very high screeching sound that is in harmony with every kick of the alternator.

The sound is a lot worse in the morning, but bearable in the daytime.

I know that sounds like 2 different areas. My thoughts are:

1. A timing belt that needs to be replaced.

2. Some vacuum problem.

I'm more leaning to number 1. Can someone shed light on my dilemma's.

I had a very similar issue, where it sounded like 100 ducks all got kicked in the balls at once. Once the car was started the noise stopped.

Anyhow, it was my starter motor. The bearings on the main shaft (and i think the shaft itself) needed greasing.
