I want to know if someone has any DIY info on pulling out the pedal box??????

Which one ??...from R31 models onward the clutch and brake pedal boxes are actually separate items. Getting the clutch one out just requires unbolting the clutch master, then the whole pedal box comes out complete with pedal. OTOH the brake pedal box also supports the steering column and requires a fair bit more work to get out.

In the R32, the clutch pedal box has a bolt near the top. You need to remove the instrument cluster to make access to the bolt a whole lot easier.

Then:

remove the split-pin from the pivot pin holding the clutch rod onto the pedal, and remove the pin.

Unbolt the clutch master cylinder - no need to actually remove it.

When you put it all back together, don't be a slack-arse (like someone I know) - put the split-pin back in the pivot pin.

I left mine in, i just used a socket extension to get up there to take it out, then a magnetic screwdriver to help get it in. (then swapped to socket to tighten)

Then:

remove the split-pin from the pivot pin holding the clutch rod onto the pedal, and remove the pin.

dont lose the split pin, as its easy to do like i did  Just replace with a fresh one if you do...

If you want it easier just take out the lower dash part (section below the steering wheel), or if your feeling energetic take out the drivers seat as well, and make it damn easy.

I used some foam (or a pillow) on the foot sill to lean on instead....

I have put manual pedals in mine ready for manual conversion in a couple of months (was bored :D).. I have written part of the guide for manual conversion.. email [email protected] and I'll send you photos and the text I've written on the pedals

its a bit of a fiddly bitch, but you should be able to work it out.

You shouldn't need to pull anything out.. the bolt up the top for the clutch pedal is where the old auto sensor box is (or whatever it is -- its white plastic box anyhow)
