Nismo Rb25det Engine Mounts

Hi Guys,

I am just about to buy some nismo RB25DET engine mounts for when i fit my RB25DET to my Datsun 240K.

I have the choice of either a mount for Non-HICAS (cheaper) or HICAS. I am not sure of the difference between these two mounts (can't find any pictures), does anybody know?

i assume from the fact that i am making up custom mounts anyway that it wouldn't matter and i should go for the cheaper option.

nengun seems to sell the mounts 1pc at a time, whereas greenline sell them as a pair. am i right in that the Left hand side and right hand side is the same? (i assume that the part is actually only the rubber rather than the whole mount arm)

Hicas mounts are round with 3 studs. The non-Hicas are square with only 2 studs.

just out of interest, why the two different types (and which skyline's did without HICAS? i thought it was a basic feature)?

cant see how that works, all Nissan mounts are the same. (i think)

Well, im using RB30 mounts for my RB26 in the HR

cant see how they would be different

It looks like all RB25DET's had Hicas mounts while the DE's had either. Just check your car
