On the weekend, as the innocent driver of a toyota corolla was doing a three point turn, it was viciously driven into by some dude in a skyline. every night this guy belts it down our street, blow off valves and all, and this time he stuffed up - does he deserve sympathy, or a laugh in the face?
hmmm does the skyline community no favours driving like that does they. >_<

what ya reckon?

Without know the full story and background from both drivers it is pretty stupid to make any observation or judgment calls on either of the drivers action.

I hope all involved walked away and that both had insurance.

thats true rumours are he was hooning and giving it a thrashing

he's also known to be the street's hoon

but at this stage its fiction not facts until proven otherwise..

i cut n pasted my comments except this "hmmm does the skyline community no favours driving like that does they.

sheez.. looks worse then mine did when i ran up a rolla's butt... mine was written off had chassis damage.. either way hopefully drivers / passengers are alrite!.. cars are replaceable..

To be honest, if he's hooning up and down the street all the time, thats bad, but if a car has done a 3 point turn in front of him, doesnt matter if he is Bin Larden, its not his fault. Speeding yes a factor. But I know some drivers that are so stupid, they know a car is speeding yet they are of this additude, they shouldnt be speeding, if they were I have time to pull out, so I'll pull out anyway.

Many variables.

if he was speeding then he was at fault. you should be able to stop if you see a guy doing a 3 point turn in a 50 zone............even though you shouldnt really have to stop because of right of way.

i wouldnt be surprised if he was speeding, i see skylines speed in 50 zones all the time

well the guy doing the 3 point turn should be judging the guys speed correctly, whether he was doing 10km or 100km/hr .. 3 point turns are too dangerous if you ask me at the best of times in any street.

anyhow, blah, blah.

the_paladin: well here in QLD I've never actually seen a car obey a 50km/hr zone no matter what car they're in so don't go on about damn skylines. Rednecks in their dunny dores are 5 times worse and the average for them seems to be about 20km/hr over. About the only one who ever does seems to be ME in my skyline. shrug.
