More along the lines of I have no idea what your talking about....are you saying AFM's are better than map sensors or the other way around? I notice you describe them as being totally different, but not which would be the better application for my purpose

well they are two different things trying to achieve the same goal. its a matter of using the right tool for the right job. if you want superior "resolution" on the map layer for the ecu then go for airflow meters. if you want "single dimension" tuning then go for map sensors. see what your tuner thinks and then go from there?

the restriction layer that most people refer to on a car as far as airflow meter "diameter" is concerned applies after the turbocharger on a turbo car. moving to map sensors based on "restriction" should not be the case

on an n/a car the "restriction" applies throughout the air intake as it needs as little restriction as there is nothing forcing the air in, other than sea level pressure

OK, so far I have come down to $9,570 worth of parts, all from Nengun including delivery cost (not including labor) and have seprated them into these 3 stages:

Stage 1 -- $1,750

Power FC - APEXI

Remote Oil Filter

Cam Gears - TOMEI Adjustable

Timing Belt - TOMEI

Stage 2 -- $1,758

Injectors - SARD 700CC

Fuel Pump - NISMO

AFM's (might move this to Stage 1 and get a water pump here. But my car doea already have a newish water pump)

Oil Catch Can

Stage 3 -- $6,062

Camshafts - TOMEI (IN260deg / EX260deg / L9.15mm)

Con Rods - TOMEI Forged H-beam

Turbos - Garrett GT2530 (or GT-RS - GTR Turbos?, only an extra $200 to get them delivered from Nengun)

I might get onto X-Speed or Hyperdrive (Perth locals) and ask about tuning the Power FC next year.
